So. Many. Feels.  Blogmas Day One

I thought this would be a great topic to blog about. But it’s a lot harder than you can imagine.

I love when bookscan give me the feels. And these books give me so many feels.

This year I will be doing Blogmas again.

* My Best Friends Girl
My Best Friends Girl is one of my all time Favorite books.

It pulls on the heartstrings in so many places. Kamryn being hurt by her boyfriend and best friend. Adele and Tegan being mistreated by their Father/Grandfather. The blatant mistreatment and stereotypes of black women and a white child. Woman’s equality in the work place. Love. Heartbreak. Adoption. Death.

* The Help
When I first tried to read the book I couldn’t do it. Then when I finally read it all the way through for the first time I had so many feels towards it. I fell in love with the main characters.

* The Ice Cream Girls
You can’t help but feel for Poppy and Serena that at a young age they were taken in by their teacher. A man they both loved who lied and cheated and would make you do the same just for his entertainment.

* Hate List
They say that high school is the best years of your life. But in Hate List is a book where your trying to be a teenager after a school shooting that has left people dead or traumatized, and dealing with getting your life back together.

* Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
The last book for me had so many feels. I was exited the day it came out and to read it. I wasn’t disappointed either with it. I was sad when so many of my favourite characters died, happy that others died. Then when the last movie came out I realized that my childhood was over. Ok sure there is all the extra books, and editions, and memorabilia etc. But when books and movies end it feels like a massive chapter has closed.

The Pact
The Pact literally had me in tears when I read it. It deals with Teenage love and suicide and the aftermath of the family’s who are left behind. I felt so connected with the families.
