2018 was a difficult year for me when it comes to reading. While I completely smashed my Goodreads challenge there were a lot of books I didn’t read that I wish I had.
Young Adult
There were a few books in this category that I wish I had read. Either to read them or to finish them as they are DNF books
- The Coldest Girl in Coldstown
- Will Grayson, Will Grayson
- Just Listen
- Just One Year
- Since You’ve Been Gone
- My Life Next Door
- The Daughters Series
- The Daughters
- The Daughters Take the Stage
- The Daughters Break the Rules
Classics
Three of the books I haven’t even attempted to read and two are DNFd. I have a hard time with classic books, and I did want to read at least one, I did read The Great Gatsby but I re read it and just didn’t get around to in DNFing a book or read any for the first time.
- Dr Jeckyl and Mr Hyde
- Great Expectations
- Jane Eyre
- Sense and Sensibility
- To Kill A Mockingbird
This year was a heavy Nicholas Sparks year for me, I had gotten a lot of his books on sale, and read almost all of them but 2, and with the year almost over I don’t think I’ll get the last two read.
- The Choice
- At First Sight
- Chasing Harry Watson
- Everyone Worth Knowing
- Last Night At Chateu Marimont
- All Fall Down (Jennifer Wier)
I am not really a big fan of SFF, I do have a few books that are in that category that I’ve read, but with The Host it’s a book I’m not 100% sold on reading yet.
- The Host
In 2019 I want to read at least half, I don’t know if it’s going to be half DNF and half unread books or just half the whole thing.
