Book Talk: Re Reading Books

Welcome
To another Book Talk this is on Re Reading Books.

While nothing beats reading a book for the first time I do like re reading books. There are some books that i only read once and when I have clear out I will get rid of them. I wait a while to re read books, I try for every two years or so.

I face a lot of problems personally with re reading books. While I love it I like reading books that I've already read and know that I have liked in the past.

I have a few books on my shelf that I am on the fence about reading again because I either loved them or hated them.
    * My Life Next Door was in my opinion really good but after thinking about it I think I think I liked it because I didn't like the book I had read before it.
    * Fan girl. It's been a few years since I have read fan Girl and I am on the fence about reading it again because I wasn't a massive fan of it the first time I read it.

There is also books that I want to read as a whole series.
    * Matched. I liked matched but have heard so many conflicting things about the last two books.
    * To All The Boys I've Loved Before. I hated the book so much, but as time had gone on I think if I read it again and the second book right after then my opinions may change.
A lot of books that I want to re read are a part of a series, and I have come to the conclusion that maybe if I read the book as a series then in may like them or my opinions may change.

That's the good thing about re reading books is that your opinion may or may not change. For better or for worse. But re reading books for me is always a good idea.

For me the books that I find the easiest to re read are the books that I enjoyed the first time around. Books like the Harry Potter series, Marshmallows for Breakfast, The Devil Wears Prada and Hate List.

Also because I find reading Classic books hard enough the first time around re reading them is pretty much a no go area but I can't let go because I like the fact that I have read or try to read them.
