September Read and October TBR

Hey
How am I already doing my September read when it feels like I was only just doing my TBR for September, this year is going super quick.

Well September was a little bit of a let down in reading a full book. Because I start a book and completeing a book just never happened

I finished New Moon which is great. But I started that in Auguast.

Eclipse (Stephanie Meyer) . Didn't make it past the first chapter. I have always had trouble reading Eclipse. So much so that I have never actually read the whole thing leading me on not to read Breaking Dawn. FAIL
and I know you can see me in the reflection.

Just Listen
Sarah Dessen
I wanted to read Just Listen this month. And do you think I even picked the books up. You'd be right if you said no. FAIL.

Animal Farm.
(George Orwell)
Got to complicated and I started to not understand it. It's not even a long book the version I have. It's not even 100 pages and I was so close to finishing it. FAIL. side note: this book is so thin I had to get another book behind it to stand it up

Sense and Sensibility.
(Jane Austin)
Got half way thew it near enough and realized I wasn't interested in reading it at the moment and that I was skipping down the page so I gave up. FAIL
You can still see the bookmark in the book

Coldest girl in Coldstown
Holly Black.
Started it. Not loving it at the moment. Kept trying to move forward in it. Just can't at the moment. So it is put back on my book shelf. FAIL

The Devil Wears Prada
Lauren Weisburger
. Ok so I have found a winner. Ok it's a book I have already read. A lot of times but if I can try and get over this reading slump I am going to try and do that. I won't finish by the end of the month. I know my own spead. And I know at the beginning of the year I was reading three books a month.

So for October I want to finish reading The Devil Wears Prada and possibly finish the Coldest Girl in Coldstown.

Gateway Books || Top 5 Wednesday

Hey

Hope you are all well. This weeks Top 5 Wesnesday is Gateaway Books to Your Favorite Genre.

- Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone JK Rowling
Hello. It's Harry Potter. It's brilliant
You can tell my copy is well loved.

Hate List
Jennifer Brown
Hate list is one of those books that I could and would recommend if someone wants to feel different emotions through a stand alone book

Marshmallows for Breakfast
Dorothy Koomson.
It's one of those books for me that I never ever want to end. Every time  I read it I never want it to end.

The Devil Weara Prada
Lauren Weisburger
The devil wears Prada is just a fun light hearted read. It is perfect book to read at any age. It's one of those books that always makes me feel good.

My Life Next Door
Huntley Fitzpatrick.
My life next door is another one that is light hearted but deals with some strong topics. It's such a good summer read.

Books I Brought Blind and Loved

Hey
today's post is all about the books I have brought blind and loved.

- Hate List by Jennifer Brown
I can't say anything bad about this book. It is one that I have read on multiple occasions and each time has given me the chills. It's so good.

- Looking for Alaska by John Green
Remember when the app Audible first started getting popular and it seemed everyone was talking about it and you could get your first book free. Well looking for Alaska was that free book for me. I would listen to it while I was getting ready for work and on my way to work and on the way home. I liked it that much that I actually went out and got the book. Because why not.

- My Best Friends Girl and Marshmallows for breakfast by Dorothy Koomson
I am putting these together because I remember getting them at the same time as an impulse buy while I was at the checkout of Sainsburys not to long before I moved to Canada.
When I read both I fell in love with Dorothy's writing style.

- The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Wiesburger
I don't actually remember buying it, it always seemed to be on my shelf but as soon as I read it I fell in love with it.

Characters I Wouldn't Like To Trade With | Top 5 Wednesday | September 2016

Hey
This weeks top 5 Wednesday is all about characters we would not like to change places with. There are so many amazing characters we would like to change with but those we wouldn't were a lot harder. Side note. No hate to the books I meantion or to the characters (or actors). Plus I know that its a day late, #MyBad

Draco Malfoy
As much as Draco is one of my favorite characters in Harry Potter and Tom Felton played him so well I wouldn't want to trade places with him. His father is crazy. His mum needs a back bone. One aunt (Bellatrix) is insaine. He is has so much pressure to be like his dad. He hasnt had a 'normal' childhood, he has pressure from all over the place, and I wouldn't or couldn't deal with that

 Skeeter (the help)
Skeeter was one of my favorite characters in the book and in the movie because I found that she is a bit to timid. She can stand up to her friends, if its behind their backs, I think that she should have told them sooner how she felt about them and not worry what they say because they are not the best of friends to have

Lara Jean
To All The Boys I Loved Before
This book, ahhhh, what a waste of my time reading it, I didn't like Lara Jean at all, I felt she was far to selfish, I could go on how much I dislike the book, and Lara Jean but I am going to leave it there.

Bella from twilight (this is based on the first two books)
Bella seems to be a little girl lost. She has no backbone and is the worst kind of friend that I could possibly ask for.

Valerie from Hate List
Ok so what Valerie did wasn't good in writing the list of things and people she hated but she didn't deserve some of the flack that she did get from the people she did like her dad. I wouldn't like to be in her shoes because even though she did write the list the list wasn't just her's and she didn't carry out the shooting. The aftermath of what happened was hard to read and I wouldn't want to be in that poison and at times you could tell she want handling it well.

Books I Started But Did Not Finish

Hey

Today's post is one on Books I Haven't Finished, so basically I have started the book at for some reason or another haven't finished them.

Beneath the Glitter
Elle and Blair Fowler
Elle and Blair were for me the first ones from YouTube to really do a book. After that everyone seemed to do a book. I picked up the book (at the time I really liked the sisters) started reading it and I almost finished it but couldn't. The book as a whole really confused me.

 Animal Farm
George Orwell
It's not a particularly a long book. The version I have is less then 100 pages but it was something about it that I couldn't finish reading. I found it really hard to get through.

Just Listen
Sarah Dessen
Just Listen is on my September TBR list and to be honest I don't think I will get to it this month. I want read it by the end of the year. I did start reading it but gave up part way through. Even though it's completely different then Animal farm by George Orwell I found it really hard to get through the few chapters I did read off it

Just One Year
Gayle Forman
Gayle Forman has written one of my all time favorite books (if I stay) and I really liked just one day. But just one year I found hard to read. I didn't like Willem that much in Just One Day and found his side of the story that I read really bland and uninteresting.

All I Know Now
Carrie Hope Fletcher
I have no idea why I didn't finish all I know now. I really enjoyed it but now it's sitting on my shelf with the book mark that I was using in it on the page I was reading. - side note - I was in a goodwill bookstore (goodwill is a thrift store and in the city I live in they have one just for books) there was a copy of all I know now and I picked it up for $4.

Favorite Book Endings

Hey
Today's post is all about some of my favorite endings.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
JK Rowling
This could be out in to 3 versions. The book as a whole, the very last chapter '19 years later' or the book as the last one of the whole series

As a whole the book was so well done. It was a perfect ending to the whole series and the character developments in the last book just shone through. It was full of drama, happiness, uneasiness, reunions and defeat.

The last chapter was brilliant. It wrapped up a book that no one including my self wanted yet knew was coming and wanted more after.

I know JK Rowling didn't want to put Ron and Hermione together at the end of the book and I have said it before that I like the two of them together. Having Harry and Hermoine together would (for me anyways) be wrong.  It's basically kept the three of them together without bringing any new person in which I think is great and if JK had gone with her origanal idea and had Harry and Hermione together the dynamics of having someone new in would have shifted everything out of place.

As a whole series I liked how the story line of Lupin and Tonks dying in the battle of Hogwarts brought the circle of someone loosing their parents (Harry and Teddy) came full circle.

Hate List
Jennifer Brown
Hate list is possibly one of my favorite books ever. With how the book is through out the last chapter or so when they are deciding on if they put something into the box on graduation for the person that caused so much pain in their class really gets you thinking about what would you do. The graduation ceremony when they are placing the things into the box is one of the most powerful things I have ever read. I did a Book Recomndation on Hate List which you can find HERE

Marshmallows for Breakfast
Dorothy Koomson
Honestly one of my all time favorite books. It deals with so many topics within the book, that you could see so many different endings that would work so well. The actual ending of the book is so fantastic that you really don't want the other endings to happen and yet it's the most unexpected ending of them all. There are so many hints within the books that aim towards the ending yet when the ending comes your totally thrown off.

Books That Were Disappointing

Hey
And welcome back to my blog. Today's post is all about the most disappointing books I have read

To All The Boys I've Loved Before
Jenny Han
I did a whole post about this book and how much I didn't like it. (HERE). I was so hyped to get the book. It was on sale I believe for around $10 and I picked it up.

Fan Girl
Rainbow Rowell
Sometimes when a book is really popular and everyone goes on and on about it I will pick it up (Only if it's on sale) and this was one of those books. Maybe because everyone went on about how good it was that I was disappointed. Or the fact that I was bored reading it. I have no idea but really wasn't impressed by it. I couldn't image the c

Paper Towns
John Green
Having read The Fault in Our Stars and Looking for Alaska amd loving them then reading Paper Towns I was so disappointed with it. It took me three times I believe to actually start the book and each of those times I couldn't finish it and when I did finish it I was so disappointed.

People I Would Love To Be In My Family || Top 5 Wednesday || September 7th 2016

Welcome
to the first top 5 Wednesday of September.

Today is people we would like to be in our family. I actually found it really hard for the fact that most of the books that I have read I couldnt see any of them in my family.

- Fred and George Weasley as brothers

There would never be a dull moment in the house of Fred and George were brothers.

- Bella from Twilight as a cousin you don't want to see
Bella would be the one sat in the corner of a family reunion that everyone is avoiding and not wanting to speak to. I don't know why I would want someone in my family that I would try and avoid but there is always one family member that you do.

- Luna Lovegood as the quicky sister
You have Fred and George causing mayhem and then Luna would be the sister that would say something  and everyone would look at her as if she is insaine but you think she is kinda cool.

- Jase form My Life Next Door
Jase would be the brother that everyone has a crush on and that always has friends around. Plus in the book he looks after his siblings so you know he's got a decant head on his shoulders

- Bellatrix as an aunt
Bellatrix is so crazy and insane that she would be such a fun aunt.

Books I Wish I Could Read For The First Time Again

Hey
and welcome back to my blog, Today's post is books that I wish I could read for the first time again,

* Hate List
This is one of my favorite books out there. It's so under the reader I have only seen one review online (not including goodreads). So many people should read it and I wish I could read it for the first time again because even though I have read it a few time since and have different (still good) feelings but I wish that I could have those feelings again for the first time.

To All The Boys I've Loved Before
Jenny Han
While I really didn't like this book at all I wish I could read it for the first time. I went into it will high expectations and was disappointed.

The Fault In Our Stars
John Green
I neither loved or hated the book but I went into reading the book with high expectations and in parts they were met and others they weren't. I wish I had a clear and unswayed view of the book.

My Life Next Door
Huntley Fitzpatrick
After reading To All The Boys I Loved Before I picked up my life best door and loved it. I would love to read it again for the first time and maybe not after a book that I didn't like. Because I didnt like To All The Boys  I Loved before I was holding on for hope that I would read something good. I didnt go into reading My Life Next Door with a clear mind
