November Wrap Up and December To Be Read || 2016

Welcome
To another book wrap up and TBR post, this month I got through Eclipse which I am super proud of, because I am not a massive fan of the books. Every time I felt that I was getting a rut, and couldnt carry on reading it I put it down and read a book that I knew were pretty short and that I could get through quickly

November Read

Eclipse

Stephanie Meyer
It took me a whole month to read the book, I am not sure if I have put up my review on the book out yet, but I enjoyed it a little more then New Moon, but still it was a book that I am not a massive fan of the books

The Story of Channon Rose

Channon Rose
The Story of Channon Rose, is a self published book  youtuber Channon Rose, and I really enjoyed it, It is basically an autobiography up until she got in to college and spent all the money she had gotten from a car accident she was in. What I like about the book was at the beginning of each chapter there was a quote and at the end of each chapter was things that she had learnt

The Stripper Diaries

Trisha Paytas
The Stripper Diaries is the second book by Trisha Paytas, she is another YouTube personality, and she was one of the first people from youtube to self pulish her books,  I have done a review on this book, its not a brillaint book at all. It is transcribed from her time as a stripper

The History of my Insanuty

Trisha Paytas
Again another self published book by Trisha Paytas, this is the first one that she released where she talked about her life, its basically her autobiography, I didn't like it that much, ok so I know its about her life, but I would have liked to have seen a different font used and some pictures as well of her as she grew up.

The Mum Minder

Jacqueline Wilson
Ok so this is a book that I have had for years and years, and havent read it in so long and I was in such a mood for a book by Jacqueline Wilson. The Mum Minder is about 9 year old Sadie who had to write a journal for a school project, her mum is a childminder, she catches the flu during the week that Sadie has off school for half term, so the children's parents all take it in turns to look after the children. So the children all go to different place including a police station

December To Be Read

Breaking Dawn

Stephanie Meyer
I am so close to finishing the Twilight saga books and I couldnt be any more happier, I mean the last two books just seem so much bigger then the last 2 books of the Harry Potter series, and yet I loved the Harry Potter Books. But the fact that I am one book away from completing the series is great and I think that I can get it done by the end of the year

Sense and Sensibility
Jane Austin
If I finish Breaking Dawn I will attempt to start reading Sense and Sensibility,

David Jason
My Life Autobiography
I have had David Jason's book on my shelf for like 2 years, finally I read it and loved it

September Read and October TBR

Hey
How am I already doing my September read when it feels like I was only just doing my TBR for September, this year is going super quick.

Well September was a little bit of a let down in reading a full book. Because I start a book and completeing a book just never happened

I finished New Moon which is great. But I started that in Auguast.

Eclipse (Stephanie Meyer) . Didn't make it past the first chapter. I have always had trouble reading Eclipse. So much so that I have never actually read the whole thing leading me on not to read Breaking Dawn. FAIL
and I know you can see me in the reflection.

Just Listen
Sarah Dessen
I wanted to read Just Listen this month. And do you think I even picked the books up. You'd be right if you said no. FAIL.

Animal Farm.
(George Orwell)
Got to complicated and I started to not understand it. It's not even a long book the version I have. It's not even 100 pages and I was so close to finishing it. FAIL. side note: this book is so thin I had to get another book behind it to stand it up

Sense and Sensibility.
(Jane Austin)
Got half way thew it near enough and realized I wasn't interested in reading it at the moment and that I was skipping down the page so I gave up. FAIL
You can still see the bookmark in the book

Coldest girl in Coldstown
Holly Black.
Started it. Not loving it at the moment. Kept trying to move forward in it. Just can't at the moment. So it is put back on my book shelf. FAIL

The Devil Wears Prada
Lauren Weisburger
. Ok so I have found a winner. Ok it's a book I have already read. A lot of times but if I can try and get over this reading slump I am going to try and do that. I won't finish by the end of the month. I know my own spead. And I know at the beginning of the year I was reading three books a month.

So for October I want to finish reading The Devil Wears Prada and possibly finish the Coldest Girl in Coldstown.

Augaust Read and September TBR

Hey
and welcome to my Monthly Read and my next months TBR

For the first part of the year I have done really well with reading. 2-3 books a month but this month I have taken my sweet time. I haven't finished a book this month. I am almost done New Moon but have about 150/200 pages left to read and know I won't finish it this month

I started Just One Year by Gayle Forman but didn't finish it. I will at some point.

My TBR this month  is to finish new moon which I will.

Attempt to start Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer.

I want to break up the Twilight saga a little so I will be attempting to read Just Listen by Sarah Dessen. If I manage it I will be surprised.

July Read and August TBR

Hey

This month I kind of failed at reading, I normally read three books but July I only read one, yes ONE book, the beginning of July I started reading Just One Year by Gayle Forman, and while I love her books I couldn't get in to Just One Year, so I started reading Twilight, even though I have read Twilight before, I took my time reading it

I didn't like just one year as much as Just One Day so I switched to Twilight instead. And it took me longer then I thought it would to read kinda. I had family over for 2 weeks and I didn't feel like reading in those 2 weeks. I had the massive case of the reading slump.  So I only read one and a bit of the 2 books I wanted to read.

I have started reading new moon by Stephanie Meyer.

In August I am not putting so much pressure on myself to read a lot. I want to at least finish New Moon, and start book 3.

June Read and July TBR

Welcome,

to my June read and July TBR. In June I could feel myself getting into a reading slump. Even tough I finished reading Just One Day pretty qiuck the first few chapters I was reading pretty slowly only reading a page here and there, and then finally one day I picked it up and read it. Just before I picked it up I started reading 2 other books but couldn't get into them.

Since You've Been Gone
Morgan Matson
I liked this book. It was a great book to read as a first Morgan Matson book. I did a whole review on the book HERE

James and the Giant Peach
Roald Dahl
I wanted to read a quick book after SYBG and James and the Giant Peach is such a quick and fun little book that brings you right back to your childhood

Just One Day
Gayle Forman
I loved this book when I read it last year and I got the second book Just One Year and wanted to read them one after the other, I almost didnt finish it in June but I did.

To Be Read in July

Just One Year
Gayle Forman
This is the companion book for Just One Day and it is Willem's story instead of Allyson's

Twilight
Stephanie Meter
This month I am going to start reading the twilight saga. I have read twilight many times but haven't read the other three books and really need to get on to it.

May Read and June TBR

Hey
and welcome back. Today is my May's read books and my TBR for June. Were is the time going.

May Read

The Help Kathryn Stocett
The first book I read this month was The Help, believe me when I say it took me 3 other times to try and read The Help over the years and I finally did it. It was ok, not one of my favorite books. I did a review on it which is my previous post or you can see it HERE

David Beckham My Son Ted Beckham
When moving out of home there are always things that you forget, and this book along with two other David Beckham books (plus alot of other things) were forgotten about. I think they were in some boxes from when we first moved to Canada and never got around to unpacking until recently. David Beckham My Son is written by his dad Ted. Its a pretty quick read and has quite a few pictures in it. It's just his view on his son's career.

Totally Jacqueline Wilson
Totally Jaqueline Wilson is another quick read. It was in a box for ages and ages and then when my dad was clearing out the garage at his old house found a ton of boxes that were mine and I found it again. It includes four new stories, interviews, and various other things that Jacqueline Wilson has done. Its really good and I enjoyed it.

Marshmallows for Breakfast Dorothy Koomson
Dorothy Koomson is one of my favorite authors, and I haven't read any of her books in such a long time, that I had to pick Marshmallows for Breakfast up. It is one of those books that is such a page turner. You laugh and cry through out the whole book. The front cover falls you into thinking its going to be something different and through out the book you think one thing is going to happen yet it completely changes at the end

June TBR

Since You've Been Gone Morgan Mattson
I will at some point read this book. I have gotten one chapter in and have put it down an read other books.

The Glass Wives Amy Sue Nathan
I started this book and got a chapter in and then changed my mind and started reading Since You've Been Gone

You can see my progress on my good reads page which is HERE
