Book Review || Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

Today is a book review on the Twilight book, I was going to do one big long post on all four books and the movies, and my whole feelings towards it, but that would be a massive massive post and aint no one got time for that

Personally I actually liked Twilight more then the other books. What I liked was how it was different, I had never read a book where one of the character was a vampire and the other was a warewolf (but saying that I think Jacob is more of a bear/wolf then an actual warewolf)

Bella moves from Arizona to Washington to live with her dad, meets an old family friend Jacob, start at the local high school where she makes friends really easily and then meet Edward in one of her classes and Edward is acting strange towards her. One day while at school, one of Bella's friends looses control of his car on the ice and while she see's Edward no where near her, he ends up saving her from being crushed.  Bella finds out that Edward is a Vampire from Jacob and that the Vampires are not aloud on the resevation due to old promises and that if they cross over the line that they will be killed.

It goes on that Edward and Bella start dating and Edward introduces her to his family, one day Edward takes her to a baseball game that his family are having during a thunderstorm, and three more vampires arrive, who are not as 'nice' as Edward and his family. It ends up that they discover Bella is human rather then a vampire. By the end of the book Bella is kidnapped and attacked by one of the vampires and is saved by Edward and the Cullens, and while in the hospital her mother tells her that she has fallen down two flights of stairs and broken her leg.

I actually liked Twilight, but there was so many thing in the book that could have been so much better in my opinion.

Edward to me already started showing that he can be a manipulative kind of person, Bella's parents really annoyed me so much, I understand that her dad is the police chief but seriously what did he do before Bella came to town for when he was cooking, cleaning etc, because Bella seemed to do it for him, and her mum is she really that stupid, like I can understand the fact that someone can break their leg after falling down a set of stairs, but falling down two sets, because the way that I read and understood that chapter was the stairs were like that in a school, where you go down a set, and there is a little landing way going across rather then down, and then another set of stairs to the ground floor.

When I first got the book way back in 2008, when it was really popular, I actually liked the book, that  I picked up the other three books online.

Over time I have fallen out of love with the first book, when I first read the book I liked it but over time having re read it a few times I have realized I don't like it as much
