Childhood Books

Welcome to this weeks Top 5 Wednesday. It feels like forever since I have done one.

  • Noddy
    • Enid Blyton
I was obsessed with Noddy when I was younger. When I say obsessed I mean it was like major obsession. I had books, watch the tv shows, have toys, cups, plates, cutlery, I would make anything noddy if I could. My parents would say that everytime Noddy came on TV and my mum was in the other room I would scream for her and when she came in to see what was wrong I tell her to be quite because Noddy was on TV. She would stand at the door and watch me sing along to the theme song. Also when I was younger we would play a game called 'Where is Bumpy Dog' where every time we would go past a lot of trees we would make up stories about Bumpy Dog being lost in them and being chased by the gremlins and I'd have to roll down the window to let him in the car and hide him from them.

  • The Witches
    • Roald Dahl
Roald Dahl was one of my favourite authors when I was a kid, and while most of my friends liked the BFG, I liked The Witches

  • Vicky Angel
    • Jacqueline Wilson
I have no idea why I love this book so much, but I do. I mean it's a fantastic book that I would read over and over again.

  • The Suitcase Kid
    • Jacqueline Wilson
The Suitcase Kid was my favourite book as a kid. It stuck with me for ages after reading it and I loved re reading it all the time.

  • Harry Potter Series
    • JK Rowling
Ok I know this is super corny, and everyone will want to put it down and won't, but I will. I remember reading the third book in 2002, when I was at a school I hated and just remembering that I wish I was at Hogwarts

JK Rowling
JK Rowling changed a generation with the Harry Potter books, and they are the first books that I remember reading fully on my own

Leonardo DiCaprio
Leo, Leo, Leo, how you have changed the world with your acting. Every movie he is in he gets better and better.

Chris Martin
Coldplay has been one of my favorite bands for so long. I remember doing some homework (yay me!) on a Coldplay song for music class, and after seeing him on James Corden's car pool I think he is even more cool. Plus a dinner party needs good music

His live comedy show Peter Kay: Live at Manchester Arena, makes me laugh so hard, the amount of times that I have watched it, it makes me laugh every. single. time. and I mean tears of laughter running down my face and I can't breath because I am laughing so much. Phoenix Nights, Max and Paddy anything this man does makes me laugh.
