Augaust Read and September TBR

Hey
and welcome to my Monthly Read and my next months TBR

For the first part of the year I have done really well with reading. 2-3 books a month but this month I have taken my sweet time. I haven't finished a book this month. I am almost done New Moon but have about 150/200 pages left to read and know I won't finish it this month

I started Just One Year by Gayle Forman but didn't finish it. I will at some point.

My TBR this month  is to finish new moon which I will.

Attempt to start Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer.

I want to break up the Twilight saga a little so I will be attempting to read Just Listen by Sarah Dessen. If I manage it I will be surprised.

Books I Had To Buy.... But Are Still Sitting On My Shelf

Hey
So this post is all about the books I had to buy at the time but are sitting on my shelf. There isnt that many books that I have had to had and are still sitting on my self

The Last Song
Nicholas Sparks
I think everyone has a Nicholas Sparks book on their shelfs. I have two and have read only one, and The Last Song isnt that book. I am not a massive fan of the cover that I got, but I wanted it because it was such a hyped up book that had been turned in to a movie, and so I got the book, and guess who has read it...... Yep that would be me

Eclipse and Breaking Dawn
Stephanie Meyer
I remember so clearly getting Twilight and New Moon from the book store in late 2008 when they started to become really popular, and everytime I went back into the store they didnt have Eclipse and Breaking Dawn and I really wanted them, so my mum ordered them online for me and I paid her for them an yet I have only read Twilight all the way through, a part of New Moon (and I am curentley reading New Moon to actully say I have read it) and havent even attempted to read the last two books. That is changing though as I am writing this I am about 150/200 pages away from finishing New Moon, and then I will be starting Eclipse

Animal Farm
George Orwell
I heard a lot of good things about the book, yet could never find it and when I did I picked it up, and it has just sat on my shelf since I have gotten it

Books I Want To Read Before The End Of The Year || Wednesday 24th August 2016 || Top 5 Wednesday

Welcome
to another Top 5 Wednesday, today's post is on Books I Want To Read By The End Of The Year. This one was really easy for me, one of the easiest top 5's that I have ever done.

Eclipse and Breaking Dawn
Stephanie Meyer
I have read twilight so many times and have read new moon up to a curtain point. But never finished it. And haven't even attempted eclipse or breaking dawn even though I own them and have for years. They have sat on my self for 7/8 years, I am putting them as one because I am so close to actually reading them.

Just One Year,
Gayle Forman
As much as I love Gayle forman's writing I just couldn't get into Just One Year. I love Just One Day, so I would like to actually finish the series

Life of Pi
Yans Martel
Life of Pi has been sitting on my shelf since I got it and I really should read it. Only problem I've seen the movie so many times and I'm worried I won't like the book as much as the movie.

- Just Listen.
Sarah Dessen.
I've started just listen so many times and not finished it that by the end of this year I will have finished it. I wouldnt say that what I did read was bad, but other books seemed to over take me reading this book

The Last Song
Nicholas Sparks
I have had The Last Song for years, and haven't even attempted to read it, yet its not one of the books that I want to get rid of just yet.

I hope you enjoyed the post.

Favorite First Sentence's || August 17th 2016 || Top 5 Wednesday

Welcome
Today is another Top 5 Wednesday post and this one is all about favorite first sentences. You can find the Top 5 Wednesday group on goodreads HERE. So lets get stared

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
JK Rowling
"The two men appeared out of nowhere, a few yards apart, in a narrow moonlight lane"
Deathly Hallows is one of my favorite Harry Potter books, and I loved the first sentence of the book. In fact I love the whole first paragraph

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
JK Rowling
"It was nearing midnight and the Prime Minister was sitting alone in his office, reading a long memo that was slipping through his brain without leaving the slightest trace of meaning behind"

Half Blood Prince is again one of my favorite books in the series and the first chapter is one of my favorites in the whole series and the first sentence just speaks volumes

My Life Next Door
Huntley Fitzpatrick
"The Garret's were forbidden from the start"

My Life Next Door is one of my favorite book that I have read not only this year but in a while. The first sentence drew me in

Marshmallows for Breakfast
Dorothy Koomson
" 'Your black' "
For me Dorothy Koomson is brilliant and more people should read her books and her books should be more acessable world wide.

All I know Now
Carrie Hope Fletcher
"I don't know what I am doing"

Book Series I Have Started But Not Finished

Hey

I hope you are all having a wonderful day, I should be outside enjoying the sun but its so humid that I decided to stay indoors with the fan directly on me cooling me down,
I have read a lot of books that are in series, and some series I have read the first book and havent read the rest of the series for various reasons. By series I mean where a series that has 2 or more books in the whole series can I say series enough. Thanfully its only two that I haven't completed

Matched, Crossed and Reached
Ally Conde
I have read Matched but not not the other two. I'm going to wait a while because I've heard that the other 2 books aren't as good as Matched

Twilight Saga
Stephanie Meyer
I have read twilight and a little of new moon before but never completed the whole series. I have all 4 books but never got around to it because I didn't like the little of new moon that I read but I will at some point this year hopefully read all the books

Book Series I Haven't Read

Welcome

Today's post is on popular book series that not only I haven't read but haven't picked up for one reason or another. One of the bigest reason is the fact there is so many books in the series that  I don't know if I could justify the amout of money on buying the book/series and not like it at all

Divergant
Veronica Roth
Right now I have no desire to read the Divergant series, Its just far to popular for me and I think that because so many people love it at the moment, it will get spoilt for me

Hunger Games
Suzanne Collins
Again with the movies, and the books, and the hype around the Hunger Games trilogy I have no desire to read it.  I would like to read it but I like to when its not quite as popular as it is right now

Uglies Series
Scott Westerfeild
There was a lot of hype around the books, and then there wasn't. Some people love the books and others don't. But this is the one that I want to read  the most out of all the books in this post. This is the one series that I wouldn't worry to much about the price, it's the one that looks the most intresting

The Lunar Chronicles
Marissa Meyer
This a newer series and one that seems really good. The Lunar Chronicles is a retelling of Disney movies. Cinder is based on Cinderella, Scarlet is bassed on Little Red Riding Hood, Cress is bassed on Repunzel and Winter is bassed on Snow White. I am not a massive Disney fan but the book seem like a good retelling and

Legand Series
Marie Lu
I haven't seen a lot of people review the series, and what I have seen there are a lot of mixed reviews.

Delirium
Lauren Oliver
Honestly I have no desire to read the Delirium book series at the moment. It's been so over rated, that I have had no desire to pick it up or read them right now

City Of... series
Cassandra Clare
This series seems really interesting, I haven't seen anything bad about the books, I'm just not sure if I would actually like it and I dont want to waste my money on it

Maze Runner
James Dashner

I heard really good things about the books, and as soon as  the movies came out I heard really bad things about them.

Books You Feel Differently About || Augaust 3rd 2016 Top 5 Wednesy

Welcome

To the first top 5 Wednesday of August.
The Top 5 Wednesday topic was quite a mix this week and it's on the 5 books you feel differently about.

The Help
Kathryn Stockert
I did a whole review on the help but basically I started it and never finished it, 2-4 times before I read the whole thing. Each time I read it before finishing it I didn't particularly like it. But the time that I read it I loved it.

ps I Love you
Cecelia Ahern
I loved the book when I first read the book. I have re read it and not liked it as much. It was the same with the other 3 Cecelia Ahern books I also have.

One Day
David Nichols
After reading One Day I liked it. Not enough to say it was one of my favorite books but after some time I realized that actually did like it more then I thourght.

Hate List
Jennifer Brown
I feel as if I go on about Hate List a lot but it's one of my favorite stand alone books. Every time that I have read it I have loved it even more. And as many times as I have read it I have cried, laughed and had my heart broken every single time.

Marshmallows for Breakfast
Dorothy Koomson
Marshmallows for breakfast is one of those books that I could read everyday and never get bored of
