The Road So Far TAG

Welcome to the road so far Tag. I’ve been looking for a newish Tag to do, and this one seemed like a good idea.
Q1 - If you could pick a fictional world to live in, what world would you chose and why?

I would say The Wizarding World.



Q2 - What solo book and/or book series surprised you the most?
The Ice Cream Girls,
If you’ve read any of my posts relating to Dorothy Koomson then you know I love her work, she is one author I just can’t get enough of. The Ice Cream Girls for me is a switch in her writing that shows how she had changed/grown as an author. The two previous books I’d read by her (My Best Friends Girl and Marshmallows For Breakfast) are Great I love them, but when you read The Ice Cream Girls it’s totally different than a woman looking after children.

Matched Trilogy and Lunar Chronicles

I find that they are both very similar. How they start with one character and then by the third book it’s confusing because there are so many characters involved.

But honestly I found the Lunar Chronicles so much more confusing. I thought that it would have been more like a stand alone kind of series (where each book was a stand alone book biased on a Disney character than a series where it developed over the course of the series)

Q3 - You can pick one author to meet, who would you chose and why?
Dorothy Koomson. For me she is my queen 👑 and has been for a while. She is definitely someone who should be a lot more popular across the world.


Q4 - If you could only ever read one genre of book for the rest of your life what genre would you chose and why?
This is such a hard choose because I like to read so many different genres of books. Anything than YA books. While I like YA books they can become repetitive


Q5 - What genre do you rarely read, but wish you read more?

Classics. I have so many classic books and have only read a small number of them. They just don’t seem to keep me interested



Q6 - What is the most intimidating book or book series you’re too nervous to begin?
The Host by Stephanie Meyer for the sheer size of the book. It’s only in the 600 page regain but it seems so much bigger.


Q7 - If you had to recommend one book and/or book series above all others what would that be?
I can’t go and choose one of Dorothy Koomson books, so I’m just going to say her books.

Q8 - Final question, what are your reading plans & book blogging plans for the next six months?

I want to read the rest of my books by Nicolas Sparks. I think I have two or three left to read

I want to review more movies based on books

Finish the Harry Potter series (again)

To fully get back in to blogging.
