Books I Wasn’t Expecting To Like

What I find with books is that if I find them on my own (ex if the book wasn’t recommended to me) I like it a hell of a lot more than a book that was over hyped.

- Hate List
    - Jennifer Brown
I was drawn to Hate List. When I was working in the mall for about 15 I would walk around the bookstore before my shift started. And for some reason I was drawn to the Hate List. So from one of my pay checks I picked it up. I had no idea what it was about. But I loved it.

- The Great Gatsby
    - F Scott Fitzgerald
I am not a classic book kind of person. I do have many of them but I have only read two, and DNFd another two.

- My Life Next Door
    - Huntley Fitzpatrick
Because I was on such a low after reading To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, I was sure that any YA contemporary book would have just pissed me off but I was surprised 😮 with My Life Next Door and how good it was.

- Lock and Key
    - Sarah Dessen
I had had a hard time reading another of Sarah’s books, but for some reason I wanted to give her another try. I thought that this was another book, I picked it up by accident. But it was a happy one as I loved it.

- Since You’ve Been Gone
    - Morgan Mattson
SYBG, is very much like Paper Towns, yet I liked it a lot more. While it won’t make it on to any of my favourite book lists I also wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I did

- The Lucky One
    - Nicholas Sparks
I have a love hate relationship with Nicholas Sparks. Some of his books I like and others I don’t.
