Welcome
To the Mid Year Freak Out Book Tag. And as the title of this suggests it's about freaking out books and the middle of the year
1. BEST BOOK YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2017
The Ice Cream Girls. I love the book. It's not a surpise. Any Dorothy Koomson book is brilliant,
2. BEST SEQUEL YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2017
Scarlet, only because The Lunar Chronicals is the series I have read so far.
3. NEW RELEASE YOU HAVEN’T READ YET, BUT WANT TO.
I'm not really up to date on any new releases.
4. MOST ANTICIPATED RELEASE FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR.
Again I'm not 100% up to date on any new releases for the second half of the year.
5. BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT.
- Thirteen Reasons Why
- I re read the book because of the Netflix drama but was so disappointed by the book.
- Just One Year
- I was so disappointed by the book. So much so that I couldn't finish it.
6. BIGGEST SURPRISE.
Cinder and Scarlet. I wasn't expecting a lot out of Cinder, I thought it would be a lot like Cinderella but was pleasantly surprised, but when it came to Scarlet I found that I wasn't as exited about it.
7. FAVOURITE NEW AUTHOR. (DEBUT OR NEW TO YOU)
Marissa Meyer. She is a new to me author that I read this year, actually I think she is the only reason author I have read this year.
8. NEWEST FICTIONAL CRUSH.
I don't have any new fictional crushes.
9. NEWEST FAVOURITE CHARACTER.
Ruby in Lock and Key. Most teenagers in a YA Contemporary are brats, full of them selfs but Ruby was someone that I really liked
10. BOOK THAT MADE YOU CRY.
The Ice Cream Girls and Goodnight, Beautiful. Both by Dorothy Koomson.
11. BOOK THAT MADE YOU HAPPY.
Lock and Key. For the simple fact that it wasn't such a romantic book as I imagined
12. FAVOURITE BOOK TO FILM ADAPTATION YOU SAW THIS YEAR.
I'm someone who doesn't enjoy going to the movies that much. I think it's been about 4 or 5 years since I've been to the movies.
13. FAVOURITE REVIEW YOU’VE WRITTEN THIS YEAR.
I don't think I have a favourite review that I've written this year.
14. MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOK YOU’VE BOUGHT SO FAR THIS YEAR (OR RECEIVED)
I've been really good this year so far in not really going into the book store. I haven't felt a need to do so.
15. WHAT BOOKS DO YOU NEED TO READ BY THE END OF THE YEAR?
Everyone worth Knowing
