Why United?

After Manchester United's dramatic FA Cup semi final game on Saturday  at Wembley against Everton it got me thinking why I support Manchester United

1999 we won the treble. Premier league, FA Cup and Champions league. 

The class of 92: the class of 92 are 6 brilliant players who played over a combined 109 years and won a combined 120 trophies including 50 premier leagues, 8 champions league and 18 FA cups. 

Busby Babes: Sir Matt Busby was the manager of Uniter in 1958 when 8 of the United players were killed in the Munich plane crash coming back from Belgrade after a European game. The players were young and talented and had come through the clubs youth system. 

Champions Leauge 2008: Is always one of my favourite games. We beat Chelsea on penalties 

Sir Alex Ferguson one of the greatest managers ever. 

Sir Matt Busby: 

Sir Bobby Charlton: when I think of Manchester United one of the first people I think of is Sir Bobby. Complete and utter legend. 

The Youth Accdemy: I mentioned the class of 92. They came through the youth Accdemy. But I can't do a post on united with out the youth players that have come through in the last few years. Jesse Lingard, Adnan Januzaj, and Marcus Rashford (who has been amazing since his debut back in February)

The young Players: apart from those who came through the youth team (massively this season) we have had some great players be brought in and had a lot of stick in the media yet proved everyone wrong

The last minute wins: Personally I thought last minute wins were in the days of Sir Alex. Boy was I wrong. 

I'm proud to support Manchester United. We have a 4/5 more Premier League games left and the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace. This season we could win one trophy
