January's Read Books

Hey
and welcome back to my blog, this year I have set myself a target of reading 36 books, that is 3 books a month. In January I read 4 books, which is one more then I thought I would have, and means I am over my target by one book, which for me is a good thing

Harry Potter: The Character Vault - Jody Revenson
I got this book for Christmas, my dad and I were in Costco and he had no idea what to get me for Christmas so I saw this and he picked it up. It is really interesting. They say 'don't judge a book by its cover' and that what I did with this book I completly judged it when I picked it up, I knew it would go in depth about charters we love such as Harry, Ron, Hermionie, Neville, Luna, The Weasly Twins,Ginny, Draco, Hogwarts Proffesors, Triwizard Torment, The Death Eaters such as Voldermort, Bellatrix, The Malfoys, and other Charters that were in the books, but I was expecting to see more about some of the other charters that had such a smaller part of the books and the movies, that had a small but important part, such as Seamus, Dean, Lavender, other students from other houses, and some of the family members were not involved.  I would have liked to seen them involved, just because like I said they may not be massive charters in the book, but they had small roles that were important to the story. However I really did enjoy reading this book. It was interesting and I learnt things that I didn't know about the charters that are in the book

Paper Towns - John Green
John Green is one of my favorite authors, Paper Towns is the least favorite of the three John Green's books that I have read, I enjoyed reading it but I enjoyed Looking for Alaska and The Fault in Our Stars a lot more. I had got the book back in the summer of 2014 and have tried to read it 2 or 3 time before I actually read it all the way through.
David Beckham Autobigoraphy My Side
I am a massive David Beckham, He cant do any thing wrong in my eyes. This autobiography goes from early life to the time he signed for Real Madrid, it talks about Manchester United and breaking in to the first team, Sir Alex Ferguson,  England squad including the amazing 5-1 win over Germany, the world cup 1998, to his marriage to Victoria and the birth of his first 2 children

The Great Gatsby - F Scott Fitzgerald
The Great Gatsby is the first ever 'classic' book that I have ever read, I was surprised that I read it, I recently watched the movie, and then read the book, and I am glad that I did it that way because while reading the book I could see how the movie while I read it. I really enjoyed it. It is very fast pace and really enjoyable. I am not the fastest reader in the world and it took me a few days to read 144 pages. The photo shown isn't the version of the copy I have, but the copy of the book that I like

Thanks for reading today post, I hope you enjoyed it. Look out for my next book related post, which will be my February to be read list
