Season One

Ok so season two is on Netflix (which I'm not complaining about but when the hell is the third season of BroadChurch going to be on… Just saying Netflix Canada.). Ok so I've already watched the first season of Doctor Foster forever ago and if I'm honest I didn't like it at first and got through the first episode and just left it. Then I started it again and watched them all and loved it. 

I remember Suranne Jones in Coronation Street and didn't like her as an actress. But then I watched Scott and Bailey and Unforgiven, and actually liked her. 

Series One Review 

Like I said I wasn't to sure about the first series but I ended up loving it. I like how Suranne Jones played her character. 

Gemma is a doctor who finds out that her husband is cheating on her and she drives herself crazy trying to find out who it is. Her colleague at the surgery where she works knows. While at her husbands birthday party she goes looking for evidence in his car. She soon discovered who her husbands lover is and the fact that his mistress is pregnant. Her husbands mum dies and she decides to stay with him while thinking he's finished the affair and she is no longer pregnant. She ends up telling the woman's parents who she is friends with, and realizes that she is still pregnant. 

A lot more happens within the series that kept me interested in the whole series that I had no idea why it took me so long to watch it. 

I rewatched the last episode to refresh my memory before watching the second series on Netflix. I watched series one forever ago, and didn't blog about it for some reason.

Welcome to another Netflix Review. It's seems like forever since I did one. 

This is on the Robert Kardashian documentary right now.

This documentary has been on my list on Netflix since the day it came out, but have only just watched it. 

I am not a massive fan of The Kardasians. In fact I can't stand the whole lot of them, BUT, the OJ Simpson case is fascinating. 

At the beginning of the documentary it says that there would be no Kardasians today if Robert Kardasian hadn't been OJ's defence lawyer at his murder trial. 

So we all know who the Kardashian's are. That family who has the tv show, Kris (the mum), Khloe, Kim, Kourtney, Rob Jnr, Kendal and Kylie. The latter two are not a Kardasian.

THOUGHTS ON THE DOCUMENTARY 

• That Robert Kardasian is an absolute tool. Personally I don't think it matters if your friends with someone, if it's obvious they committed a murder, they committed it. What I can't believe is that he took something so important away from the crime scene. If his friend was truly innocent then why hide something so important. 

• OJ Simpson killed them and got away with murder, you could tell by the look on his face. 

The Louis Vitton bag is a big focal point of the documentary. People believe that there was clothing and other things in the bag that OJ had been wearing the day he committed the murder of his ex wife and her friend

Over All Feelings

Personally I think this documentary (like many others about the OJ Simpson case) is just to bring more notary to the Kardasian family not that they need any more in my opinion, most documentaries always seem to give the same amount of information about the murders, about the crime, but never really about those who helped get OJ off, and to be honest they should all be in jail for lying. 

What I liked is the fact they included people's first hand account of the time, and the fact that a relative of one of the victims was included.

I wasn't to sure about this program. I saw it but never really took interest in it until it said new episodes, I watched the whole thing in 2/3 days and loved it. 

Alan and Celia meet up again after 60 years. They both have families of their own.  They get married and it follows their lives together. Alan and Celia are very different people, Celia is posh and lives with her head teacher daughter where as Alan isn't and lives with his daughter and grandson on a farm. 

What I liked about Last Tango in Halifax was that true love does come around again, and the fact that there is other stories along with the main storyline and that storyline doesn't get lost. 

I liked how different the families were.  Alan and his family were more 'down to earth', didn't care what people thought of them, almost relatable, where as Celia and her family were more posh and unrelateable to their counterparts.

The actors and actresses that are in Last Tango in Halifax are perfect it was brilliant casting and when I saw Nicola Walker in it and played her part as Gillian so well I liked her a lot more. She was in another show that I watched where she played someone completely different and I liked her in that but she was absolutely brilliant in this. 

For the longest time I was sceptical about watching the show because it was set in Yorkshire and even though I am from England, I am from the south and Yorkshire is way up north with a completely different accent then what I have but I got past that and sometimes I would laugh at how different the accents really are.

Well that's an hour and twenty minutes of life that I will never get back. I was surprised that it was good, but I was impressed by it. 

THE GOOD POINTS

What I liked about the documentary was that they used local actors. Each 'role' was filled with numerous actors and throughout the whole thing each actor/actress would read a section of script that was in front of them.  

There are many theories about what happened that night and each of the male and females were paired together to do different scenarios about those theories. 

I liked the ending where they were acting out the theories in rooms (if you watch/or have watched it you'll understand it better). 

I liked how they used local actors from the Denver Colorado area. It felt as if it gave more authentic feeling to the story. 

THE BAD POINTS

Jonbenet is a vital part of the story, as it's about her, and I felt that they spent little time on actually casting her for it and to much time on the actors that would fill up the roles of everyone else.

Over acting in some places. I thought that some of the males in particular ones that would be cast as John over acted in the role play section of when he found his daughter.  

MY UNSURE PARTS

I wasn't to sure on why the actors and actresses were putting their 'two cents' into their own theories about what happened to JonBenet that night. It was good but not good at the same point. 

Overall I wanted to give a higher rating for the it but couldn't because the bad points overshadowed the good points but it is something to watch.
